We're
Gold Class Professionals.
I-CAR,
the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is a
not-for-profit organization that trains businesses to properly
repair your vehicle quickly and efficiently.
If you or someone you know has been in a collision, then it is
important that your vehicle is repaired by an I-CAR Gold Class
Professional® business. Why? Because Gold Class
Professionals have the most up-to-date training in collision
repair and have the knowledge to correctly repair your collision
damaged vehicle.
I-CAR Gold Class Professionals® are collision repair
businesses, insurance companies, and other related businesses
that have a high level of training and understand the technology
of today's vehicles.
The Gold Class Professionals program was created in 1990 to
recognize those businesses that are committed to quality and
excellence through training. Being a Gold Class
Professional is the highest recognition for training a business
can earn in the Collision Industry. Gold Class businesses
are dedicated to training their employees on up-to-date
collision repair techniques and have the knowledge to properly
repair a collision damaged vehicle and look for hidden damage.

Automotive

Until the early
1970's, consumers had no way to distinguish between incompetent and
competent mechanics. In response to this need, the National
Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) was established in
1972.
Although the certification of professional
technicians remains ASE's primary mission, today the organization
encompasses much more. ASE is an independent, nonprofit organization
that works in many ways to help educate consumers, the media and
others to promote informed decision making when seeking automotive
repairs.
At present there are more than 435,000 professionals with current
certifications. They work in every segment of the automotive service
industry: car and truck dealerships, independent garages, fleets,
service stations, franchises, and more.
